ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />SALE OF CERTAIN ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, TO THE AREA PLAN COMMISSION <br />OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, FOR A SUM <br />EQUAL TO THE APPRAISED VALUE OF SAID ITEMS <br />OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMf40N COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I - Purpose <br />WHEREAS, the appropriate statutes of the State of Indiana <br />and enabling ordinances have now caused the creation of the <br />Area Plan Commission of St. Joseph County and the dissolution <br />of the City Planning Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission had custody of <br />certain items of personal property belonging to the Municipal <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, and <br />WHEREAS, the newly created Area Plan Commission of St. <br />Joseph County, Indiana, will require the use of these items <br />for the carrying on of the work for which it was created. <br />NOW THEREFORE, this ordinance is passed permitting the <br />sale of said items at not less than their appraised value <br />to the Area Plan Commission of St. Joseph County, Indiana. <br />SECTION II <br />The items of personal property set forth on what is <br />marked for purposes of identification as Exhibit A and <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be appraised <br />and sold to said Area Plan Commission pursuant to state <br />statute for not less than the appraised value of said items. <br />SECTION III <br />This ordinance shall <br />after its adoption by the <br />Bend, Indiana, its approva <br />all statutory regulations. <br />eel E 2nd READING 9/y /6 $- <br />0011M1TEE t THE WHOLE <br />PUBLIC HEARING !(� <br />3rd READtW <br />NOT A-PROVE %0 <br />D <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED %(/ -/� • (, 5 <br />be in full force and effect from and <br />Common Counil of the City of South <br />I by the Major, and compliance with <br />of the Common Council <br />
