Ivacic to zone from "C" Commercial, "C" Height and Area to "A" Residential, "E" Height and Area, property located at 1814 Miami Street, City of South Bend - APC #2072-01 Dear Council Members: The above referenced ordinance of Jerome P. Ivacic was legally advertised May 3, 2001. The Area Plan Commission at its public hearing on May 15, 2001, took the following action: Upon a motion by John DeLee, being seconded by John McNamara and unanimously carried, the ~ro~osed ordinance of Jerome P. Ivac><c to zone from "C" Commercial, "C" Height and Area to A' Residential, "E" Height and Area, property located at 1814 Miami Street, City of South Bend is sent to the Common Council with a favorable recommendation. The proposed zoning to "A" Residential, "A" height and area represents a downzoning, and will be more compatible with the residential housing areas to the north and east than the commercial uses that could be developed under the existing "C" Commercial zoning. The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above decision are shown in the minutes of the public hearing, and will be forwarded to you at a later date to be made a part of this report.
