SECTION III. The following property may be injuriously or
beneficially affected by such vacating:
Lot #481
Lot #392
SECTION IV. The purpose of the vacation of the real
property is to allow the construction of a secondary accessory
building, a garage 20-feet into an 80-foot right-of-way.
Currently our house has an attached single-car garage facing
Rockne Dr., which is a safety issue backing onto Rockne, a
heavily traveled boulevard-type street. We propose to build a
two-car garage on Campeau St., a much less-traveled street.
Campeau between Rockne Dr. and Churchill Dr. has an 80-foot
right-of-way. In order to maintain the integrity of the
neighborhood and save a large, mature silver maple tree, we need
to petition the City of South Bend, to vacate 20 feet of the
right-of-way.
SECTION V.
Council and be
passage by the
1st READING ~ `~ ~ ~O ~
PUBLIC HEARING ~ -L~I'~
3 rd READ{NG q ~ L`'1~01
NOT APPRa.~f$;?
REFERRE[Z
PASSED' ~- Z~'~' d
This ordinance shall be passed by the Common
in full force and effect from and after its
Common Council and approval by the Mayor.'
~~
Member of the Common uncil
Y6.'a~
~~
C~C1.'~ii;,~ .~,~sy~,:r..
U
