JOSEPH COUNTY BUILDI�T C�HRKYSOLTHgBQUDGNv. <br />AUTHORITY FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND OF <br />SOUTH BEND AND APPROPRIATING $80,974.23 TO <br />ACCOUNT 1,71- BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND <br />IMPROVEMENTS, SAID ACCOUNT BEING IN THE <br />GENERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraovdinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it now is <br />necessary to transfer certain funds to the General Fund and to <br />appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget <br />for the various functions of city government to meet such extra- <br />ordinary emergencies, and <br />WHEREAS, there was established by resolution of the <br />Common Council The South Bend, St. Joseph County Building Authority,' <br />which was to plan, build and operate a joint City - County Building, and <br />WHEREAS, such a facility is now to be constructed by other <br />legal means, and <br />WHEREAS, certain funds in the amount of $80,974.23 have been <br />provided by the City of South Bend and appropriated to a South Bend - <br />St. Joseph County Building Authority Fund: <br />Section I. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana that the sum of $80,974.23 be and the same is <br />hereby transferred from the South Bend -St. Joseph County Building <br />Authority Fund to the General Fund of South Bend. <br />Section II. Be it further ordained by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana that for the expenses of the city <br />for the year ending December 31, 1966 there is hereby appropriated <br />to Account L71- Buildings, Structures and Improvements -the sum of <br />$80,974.23, the same being in the General Fund. <br />Section III. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by <br />the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of <br />emergency appropriations. <br />AV4,1 <br />ber of the Common Council <br />Is' ?.
