FILED IN- CLEPY'S OFFICE <br />JUL 261966 <br />KATHRYN <br />CITY CLERK, Sf <br />Ist & 2nd READING <br />C0611tITTEE OF THE <br />BLOUGH <br />I BEND, IND. <br />ORDINANCE NO, fl / <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 40 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, 1962, AS AMENDED, ALSO KNOWN AS <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3702, THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1: <br />That Section 40 of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, 1962, as amended, also known as ordinance No. <br />3702, the zoning ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be <br />and the same is hereby amended as follows, to wit: <br />That the zoning of the following real estate situate in the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, and described as follows, to wit: <br />Three Hundred (300) feet in width, North and South, off <br />of the entire South side of the Chippewa Knoll realty <br />which Chippewa Knoll realty is the real estate described <br />(as follows:: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the South line of Chippewa <br />Avenue and the Westerly line of South Michigan Street; <br />thence Southerly on the Westerly line of said South <br />Michigan Street a distance of 735 feet, more or less, to <br />the North line of Lot No. 69 in Chippewa Heights Third <br />Addition in South Bend, Indiana; thence West along the <br />North line of Lot No. 69 and Lot No. 108 in said Chippewa <br />Heights Third Addition to the Easterly line of South Main <br />Street; thence North along the Easterly line of South <br />Main Street to the South line of Chippewa Avenue; thence <br />East along the South line of Chippewa Avenue to the point <br />of beginning. <br />✓ located in the 3900 block of South Michigan Street on the West side <br />thereof, South Bend, Indiana, be changed from "B" Residential <br />Use and "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial Use and "A" <br />Height and Area District. <br />Section II: <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage and legal publication. <br />66 <br />PUBLIC HEARiPiG <br />3rd READING <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED 9 4 - <br />of the Common Council <br />
