REGULAR MEETINGAUGUST 11, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />BILL NO. 43-08 PUBLIC HEARING ON A BILL TO VACATE <br /> THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: <br /> THE FIRST NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF <br /> LAUREL STREET AND SOUTH OF WESTERN <br /> AVENUE CONTINUING SOUTH BORDERING <br /> THE PENN CENTRAL RAILROAD <br /> <br />Councilmember Rouse made a motion to continue this bill until the August 25, 2008 <br />meeting of the Council. Councilmember Puzzello seconded the motion which carried by <br />a voice vote of seven (7) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />BILL NO. 44-08 PUBLIC HEARING ON A BILL OF THE <br /> COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING CHAPTER 16, <br /> ARTICLE 2, SECTIONS 16-6 OF THE SOUTH <br /> BEND MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADJUST RATES <br /> FOR COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Varner made a motion to continue this bill until the August 25, 2008 <br />meeting of the Council.
