BLOU( <br />ORDINANCE N0. -_ %y CRY CLEW(, SOUTH BEND, <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE <br />OF $19,468.49 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF MOTOR VEHICLES DURING THE <br />CALENDAR YEAR 1967. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the Water Works of the City of South Bend is <br />hereby authorized to enter into separate contracts for the <br />purchase during the calendar year 1967, pursuant to advertising <br />and the receipt of bids, of the following motor vehicles, as the <br />purchase of said units is required in the operation of the <br />Water Works, at a total cost not to exceed the amount of <br />$19,468.49 and at a unit cost of not to exceed the cost itemized <br />for each classification of vehicle, and the execution of said <br />contracts pursuant to the terms of this ordinance is hereby <br />approved: <br />3 2 -door sedans $4,566.18 <br />2 4 -door sedans 3,560.13 <br />4 van body trucks 7,694.14 <br />(1 3/4 tonal 41Iak ton pick -up truck 1,949.35 <br />1 3/4 ton cab and chassis 1,698.69 <br />$19,468.49 <br />SECTION II.
