ORDINANCE NO. 7 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 5 OF CHAPTER 24 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1962, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE MILK ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, Section 5 of Chapter 24 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, provides for certain tests of milk cows namely: a ''Tuberculin Test , and a "Test for Brucellosis" for milk cows and herds serving the South Bend area and, WHEREAS, such tests are now obsolete and in conflict with the standards of the United States Department of Agriculture and the health statutes of the State of Indiana and, WHEREAS, said provisions of said Ordinance are impairing the ability of local milk producers to compete in the open market, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That Section 5 of Chapter 24 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, is hereby repealed SECTION II.
