BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1. That Chapter 40, Section 40 -14 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, adopted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 14th day of October, 1963, more commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance in the City of South Bend, be amended by the rezoning of those certain parcels of land located in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Part of the North Half (1/2) of the following described tract: A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter (1/4) of the Northeast :.Quarter (1/4) of Section 9, Township 37 North, Range 2 East described as follows: Beginning at apoint Thirty -one and Six Tenths (31.6) feet North of the Southeast corner of the Northeast (1 /4)of the Northeast (1 /4)of said Section 9, said point being on the North line of Washington Street as shown on the recorded Plat of LaSalle Park Second Addition; thence West along the North line of said Washington Street a distance of 857.9 feet to the West line of Lake Street produced North from said LaSalle Park Second Addition; thence North along the East line of Lake Street a distance of 240 feet; thence East and along a line 240 feet North of and parallel to the North line of Washington Street a distance of 857.9 feet more or less to the East line of the Northeast Quarter (1 /4)of said Section 9; thence South along the East line of said Quarter (L/4) Section a distance of 240 feet to the place of beginning.
