ORDINANCE N0. 4948 -67 AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO ACCOUNT Q -25, "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $400.00 AND TO ACCOUNT Q -72, "FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUMS FROM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL " IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of city govern- ment to meet such extraordinary conditions; and, WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Fire Department to assure the department's ability to properly perform its functions. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $400.00 be transferred from Account Q -11, "Services Personal(°, and transferred and appropriated to Account Q -25, "Repairs of Equipment" both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION II. That the sum of $2,000.00 be'transferred from Account Q -11, "Services Personal" and transferred and appropriated to Q -72, "Furniture and Equipment" both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations. 9 -// _,/- 7 - il_G'7 _iI -G•7 Member of the Common Council.
