SLOUGH <br />Cr!'y CLERIC, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4984 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN <br />THE (1) MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1962 - $ 8,165.90 <br />(2) MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1965 - $ 2,479.40 <br />(3) MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1967 - $ 361,121.23 <br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing budget, so that it is now <br />necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in <br />the budget for the various functions of City Government to <br />meet such extraordinary emergencies: <br />SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City <br />Government and its institutions for the year ending December <br />31, 1968, the following sums of money are hereby appropriated <br />and set apart out of the several funds herein named and for the <br />purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the <br />same, and such sums herein appropriated shall be held to in- <br />clude all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, <br />unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. <br />SECTION II. That for said fiscal year there is hereby <br />appropriated out of the various City Funds hereinafter named, <br />the following specified amounts to meet such extraordinary <br />emergencies, as follows: <br />(1) <br />MUNICIPAL <br />BONDS <br />OF 1962 <br />$ <br />8,165.90 <br />To carry <br />out and <br />complete the <br />pur- <br />poses set <br />out in <br />the Municipal <br />Bond <br />Issue of <br />1962. <br />(2) <br />MUNICIPAL <br />BONDS <br />OF 1965 <br />$ <br />2,479.40 <br />To carry <br />out and <br />complete the <br />pur- <br />poses set <br />out in <br />the Municipal <br />Bond <br />Issue of <br />1965. <br />(3) <br />MUNICIPAL <br />BONDS <br />OF 1967 <br />$ <br />361,121.23 <br />To carry <br />out and <br />complete the <br />pur- <br />poses set <br />out in <br />the Municipal <br />Bond <br />Issue of <br />1967. <br />SECTION III.
