BLQUGH <br />CITY CLERIC, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4978 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN <br />THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, AND ASHLAND CHEMICAL COMPANY, SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN ASSORT- <br />MENT OF CHEMICALS FOR USE FROM FEBRUARY 7, <br />1968 TO FEBRUARY 7, 1969 IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$8,005.00. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the Water Works <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and Ashland Chemical Company, <br />South Bend, Indiana, on the 22nd day of January 1968, pursuant to <br />advertising and receipt of bids, as the purchase of same is required <br />in the operation of said Water Works in a total quantity and a total <br />cost of not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for each classi- <br />fication of chemicals in the amount of $8,005.00, is hereby approved <br />and confirmed: <br />10 2,000 lb. cylinders liquid chlorine, <br />in lots of one (1) $1,450.00 <br />380 150 lb, cylinders of chlorine 6,555.00 <br />$8,005.00 <br />SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />1/22/68 <br />2L ". 2/12/68 <br />2/12/68 <br />2/12/68 <br />2/12/68 <br />Mem er of the Common Council <br />
