ORDINANCE NO. ~ 3 ~ ~- ~ 7-- <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />APPROPRIATING $21,900.00 <br />INDIANA RIVER RESCUE (FUND #291) <br />........................................................................................................................................... <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The City of South Bend through its Fire Department operates an Indiana Rescue <br />Emergency Response Team, which contracts with the Indiana State Emergency <br />Management Agency to provide river rescue services throughout the State of Indiana <br />and elsewhere as directed by the State of Indiana. <br />To operate at full efficiency and best protect the public, the Indiana River <br />Rescue needs to purchase new equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and ordered <br />set apart from and within the River Rescue (Fund #291) for the <br />purchase of new Equipment. <br />Account No. Description Amount <br />291 0904 422 43-05 Indiana River Rescue $21,900.00 <br />SECTION II.
