BLOUG-I <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5057 -69 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN <br />THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, AND GAMON /CALMET METER DIVISION, <br />NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />AN ASSORTMENT OF WATER METERS FOR USE FROM <br />FEBRUARY 7, 1969 TO FEBRUARY 7, 1970 IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $10,502,20,AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the Water <br />Works of the City of South Bend, India�I,,, and Gamon /Calmet Meter <br />Division, Newark, New Jersey, on the Stb day of January 1969, <br />pursuant to advertising and receipt of bids, as the purchase of <br />same is required in the operation of said Water Works in a <br />total quantity and a total cost of not to exceed the quantity <br />and cost itemized for each classification of water meters in <br />the amount of $10,502.20, is hereby approved and confirmed: <br />50 1 1/2" Split Case Meters $.- 6,559.00 <br />20 2" MWD Split Case Meters 3,943.20 <br />$10,502.20 <br />SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />/'3-6 9 <br />=6% <br />Gj <br />e Ep6r of the 6?01hon Council <br />:<ATil,'YN L.
