ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ ~ 1 ' ~ Z-- <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />APPROPRIATING $9,500.00 <br />HAZMAT FUND (FUND #289) <br />........................................................................................................................................... <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The City of South Bend through its Fire Department operates a Hazardous <br />Material Response Team for the purpose of providing the citizens of South Bend with <br />protection from dangers arising from chemical spills and other accidents involving <br />hazardous material. <br />To operate at full efficiency and best protect the public, the Hazardous Material <br />Response Team needs to purchase new equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and ordered <br />set apart from and within the Haz-Mat Fund (Fund #289) for the <br />purchase of new Equipment. <br />Account No. Description Amount <br />289 0901 422 43-05 Hazmat Fund $9,500.00 <br />SECTION II.
