ORDINANCE NO. 5051 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT BOND FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF TEN <br />THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND SEVENTY -FIVE ($10,875.00) <br />DOLLARS, FOR THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST DUE ON THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT BOND ISSUE OF 1968. <br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now <br />necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the <br />annual budget for the various functions of city government to <br />meet such extraordinary emergencies, and <br />WHEREAS, Additional funds are needed by the Department of <br />Redevelopment to assure its ability to properly perform its <br />function, and more specifically to provide funds for payment of <br />interest falling due in December 1968 on the Redevelopment Bond <br />Issue of 1968. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I.
