ORDINANCE NO. 5000 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL <br />APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT XX -252, <br />"REPAIRS OF ECUIPIM=11, IN THE <br />XTOUNT OF $5,584.00 AND THE TRANS- <br />FER OF SAID SUM FR (IIi ACCOUNT XX -722, <br />"MOTOR EQUInIENT ", IN THE SANITATION <br />DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GEN- <br />ERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the <br />ption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropria <br />e money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions <br />city government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and, <br />WHEREAS, due to the increased use of the landfill, additional funds <br />needed by the South Bend Sanitation Department for the repair and mainten- <br />of its equipment, thereby assuring the department's ability to properly <br />orm its functions. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CCUMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $5,584.00 be transferred from Account <br />"Motor Equipment" and transferred and appropriated to Account XX -252, <br />of Equipment both accounts being within the General Fund. <br />SECTION II.
