ORDINANCE NO. 4995 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />IN ACCOUNT P -37, "OTHER SUPPLIES" OF THE <br />POLICE DEPARM,1ENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 <br />AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT P -722, <br />"MOTOR EQUIPMENT ", ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL <br />FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the <br />adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to <br />appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for <br />the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary <br />conditions; and, <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Police De- <br />partment to assure the department's ability to properly perform its <br />functions. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COM = COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA; <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $1,200.00 be transferred from Account <br />P -722, "Motor Equipment ", and transferred and appropriated to Account <br />P -37, "Other Supplies ", both accounts being within the General Fund. <br />SECTION II.
