ORDINANCE NO. 5007 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRI- <br />ATION TO ACCOUNT P -213, "TRAVEL EXPENSE ", <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000.00 AND TIT TRANS- <br />FER OF SAID SUD;? FRGA ACCOUNT P -11, "SER- <br />VICES PERSONAL ", IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, <br />ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary <br />to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for <br />the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary con- <br />ditions; and, <br />WHEREAS, due to the increased educational program, additional <br />funds are needed by the South Bend Police Department for travel expense <br />to send police officers to police schools outside the City of South <br />Bend, thereby assuring the department's ability to properly perform its <br />functions. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CCI&M COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA; <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $1,000.00 be transferred from ac- <br />count P -11, "Services Personal" and transferred and appropriated to ac- <br />count P -213, "Travel Expense ", both accounts being within the General <br />Fund. <br />SECTION II.
