ORDINANCE NO. 5025 -68 AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $1 T® VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. 58,000.00) AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in annual budget for the various functions of City Government to such extraordinary conditions; therefore, since the meet BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That for additional expenses incidental to the operation of the Street Department there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the following: a. Account S -252 "Repairs of Equipment" the sum of $7,000.00, b. Account S -37 "Other Supplies" the sum of $2,000.00, c. Account S -44 "Other Materials" the sum of $4,000.00, and SECTION II. That for additional expenses incidental to the operation of the Municipal Services Facility there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the following: a. Account U -221 "Electric Current" the sum of $18,000.00, b. Account U -224 "Water" the sum of $500.00, C. Account U -251 "Repairs of Buildings and Structures" the sum of $1,000.00, d. Account U -321 "Gasoline" the sum of $25,000.00,and e. Account U -37 "Other Supplies" the sum of $119GG.GG $500.00 SECTION III.This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
