ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ -" Q AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LAND IN GERMAN TOWNSHIP CONTIGUOUS THEREWITH; North Olive 2 52680 and 52720 North Olive Road STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT A Petition for voluntary annexation of 1.47 acres located in German Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, has been filed byone-hundred percent (100%) of the owners of land in the territory sought to be annexed. It is the intent and purpose of this Ordinance to annex this territory to the City of South Bend, Indiana. THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the following described real estate situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, being contiguous by more than one-eighth (1/8) of its aggregate external boundaries with the present boundaries of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be and hereby is annexed to and brought within the City of South Bend: A parcel of land being in the South West Quarter of Section 19, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, German Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the South West corner of Lot "D" of Olive Road Commerce Park Second Replat Subdivision; then North along the West line of Lot "D" of said Subdivision approximately 100 feet to a point being the South East corner of a parcel identified as Tax Key Number 04-1011-0187.02, being the point of beginning; thence North along the West line of Lot "D" of said Subdivision approximately 320 feet to a point being the North East corner of a parcel identified as Tax Key Number 04-1011-0187.03; thence West and parallel to the One half Section Line of Section 19, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, German Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, approximately 200 feet to a point being the East right-of- way line of Olive Road; thence South along said East right-of--way line approximately 320 feet to a point being the South West corner of a parcel identified as Tax Key Number 04-1011-0187.02; thence East along the South line of said parcel approximately 200 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION II. That the boundaries of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be and are hereby declared to be extended so as to include the real estate of the above described parcel as a part of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
