Transfer of funds, Fire Department <br />ORDINANCE N0, 5044 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO <br />ACCOUNT Q -262, "MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND DENTAL" IN <br />THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000.00 <br />AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FRONT ACCOUNT Q -11, <br />"SERVICES PERSONAL" IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL <br />BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now <br />necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the <br />annual budget for the various functions of city government to meet <br />such extraordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Fire Depart- <br />ment for medical expenses and to assure the department's ability to <br />properly perform its functions. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I.
