Transfer of funds, Fire Dept. ORDINANCE NO. 5042 -68 AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT Q -43, "REPAIR PARTS" IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000.00 AND TO ACCOUNT Q- 252, REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 AND THE TRANSFER.OF.SAID SUMS FRCM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SAL- ARIES" IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET, ALL BE- ING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions, and, WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Fire De- partment for repair parts and repairs of equipment to assure the depart- ment's ability to properly perform its functions. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CCh0ACN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I That the sum of $1,000.00 be transferred from Account Q -11, "Salaries ", and transferred and appropriated to Account Q -43, "Re- pair Parts" both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION II That the sum of $1,200.00 be transferred from Ac- count Q -11, "Salaries' .', and transferred and appropriated to Account Q -252, "Repairs of Equipment ", both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION III This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and a£ter.its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory require- ments of emergency appropriations.
