BLOUGH <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO <br />THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BENDt <br />INDIANA, WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED <br />AS THE 1/8 SECTION NORTH OF TOPSFIELD <br />AND EAST OF IRONWOOD. <br />Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana that: <br />Section 1 - The following described land, lying <br />adjacent to and forming a contiguous boundary with the <br />present City Limits of the Municipal City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, more particularly described as: <br />The south one -half (1/2) of the northwest one- <br />quarter (1/4) of Section Twenty (20), Township <br />Thirty -seven (37) North, Range Three (3) East, <br />being contiguous with the city limits of South <br />Bend on the south and west side, containing <br />Eighty (80) acres more or less, <br />be, and the same hereby is, annexed as a part of the Municipal <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force <br />and effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the <br />Mayor, and its publication according to law. <br />1st & 2nd READING 4 -14 -69 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />PUBLIC HEARING 10 -27 -69 <br />3rd 11 -10 -69 <br />APPROVED <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED Annex.
