Transfer of funds, Police Dept. ORDINANCE NO. 5111 -69 AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT P -252, "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000,00, AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FRCU[ ACCOUNT P-11, "SERVICES PER- SONAL", AND AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT P -361, "PHOTO SUPPLIES ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $600,00, AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT P -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions, and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Police Department for heavy repair requirements and to assure that department's ability to properly perform its functions, and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Police Department for additional costs of microfilm proc`ssing and photo work which is done for other city departments and to assure that department's ability to properly perform its functions, and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed; and more specifically as follows, to -wit; $2,600.00 in Account P -11, "Services Personal" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CC;v1N[ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $2,000,00 be transferred from Account P -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and appropriated to Account P -252, "Repairs of Equipment ", both accounts being within the General Fund, SECTION II. That the sum of $600,00 be transferred from Account P -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and appropriated to Account P -361, "Photo Supplies ", both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
