EXCERPTS OF THE MINUTES FROM THE COMMON COUNCIL 14EETINGS FOR ORD. NO. 5096-69 ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING July 28, 1969 The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing August 11, 1969. Councilman Grounds seconded the motion. Motion carried. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING August 11, 1969 This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Mr. James R. Seitz, Assistant Superintendent of the Park Department, spoke in favor of the Ordinance and explained the need for the appropriation. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the Ordinance go to the council as favorable. Councilman Craven seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE August 11 1969 To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL PARK FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,314.03 TO ACCOUNTS 252, 261, 323, 371, 41, 43, 442, 722 & 726."
