Inc., following a <br />meeting with the Council Fees and Salaries Committee members, have matte a further <br />study of the salaries proposed for 1970. We recommend the following changes from <br />those proposed by the Council Committee. <br />We recommend: <br />Elimination of the $480. for President of the Council, as a salary item. <br />Controller's salary be set at $15,000 and that he give full time to the position of <br />City Controller and not divide his time for Public Transportation Corporation, <br />City Engineer salary be set at $15,000. the same as we recommended last year. <br />Assistant City Engineer salary 11i000. <br />Project Engineer salary 10,500 <br />Engineer salary 8,400. <br />City Attorney salary be set at $10,000. in view of change proposed for Controller <br />Chief Deputy City Attorney 6,000. <br />Deputy City Attorney 40200. <br />Building Commissioner salary be set at $13,250.00 <br />Street Superintendent salary be set at 11,250.00 <br />Model Cities Program Director salary 15,000.00 <br />Model Cities Asst.
