ORDINANCE NO. 5086 -69 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY WATER WORKS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND <br />LAYNE- NORTHERN COMPANY, INCORPORATED, MISHAWAKA, <br />INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A DEEP WELL PUMP <br />AND MOTOR, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $6,180.00. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the City Water <br />Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and Layne- Northern Company, <br />Incorporated, Mishawaka, Indiana, on the 5th day of May, 1969, <br />pursuant to advertising and receipt of bids, for the purchase of a <br />vertical turbine water pump and motor in the sum of $6,180.00, is <br />hereby approved and confirmed. <br />SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />1st & 2nd READING 5 -12 -69 <br />COMIN117 -7 OF THE WHOLE 6 -9 -69 <br />PUB!
