Commonly known as the Barnhart <br />property, on Miami Hwy, approximately <br />1100 feet north of Jackson Road. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5196 -70 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEN4 INDIANA -1962 SECTION 40 AS <br />AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE No. 4990 -68, AND <br />THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS <br />THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE <br />CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN <br />PARCEL OF LAND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and <br />General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps <br />thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same re- <br />lates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South <br />Bend, and known and designated as: <br />Part of the Southwest Quarter (1/4) of the Southwest Quarter <br />(/4) of Section Thirty (30) Township 37 North, Range Three (3) East, <br />described as beginning at a point One Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy - <br />eight and Twenty -two Hundredths (1,378.22) feet South of the Northwest <br />corner of the Southwest Quarter (1/4) of said Section Thirty (30) running <br />thence East Two Hundred Fifty (250) feet; thence South One Hundred Twelve <br />(112) feet; thence West Two Hundred Fifty (250) feet to West line of <br />said Southwest Quarter (1/4); thence North One Hundred Twelve (112) <br />feet to the place of beginning, being Lot Numbered One (1) in the <br />Eugene Wilson proposed addition. <br />Subject to legal highways. <br />by changing the classification of the "Use District" from "Unzoned" <br />to "A" Residential Use and from "No" Height and Area District to "A" <br />Height and Area District. <br />SECTION 2. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage by the Common Council, approval tithe Mayor and legal <br />publication. <br />Member of the Common Council <br />
