Commonly known as the Barnhart property, on Miami Hwy, approximately 1100 feet north of Jackson Road. ORDINANCE NO. 5196 -70 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEN4 INDIANA -1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE No. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same re- lates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South Bend, and known and designated as: Part of the Southwest Quarter (1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (/4) of Section Thirty (30) Township 37 North, Range Three (3) East, described as beginning at a point One Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy - eight and Twenty -two Hundredths (1,378.22) feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter (1/4) of said Section Thirty (30) running thence East Two Hundred Fifty (250) feet; thence South One Hundred Twelve (112) feet; thence West Two Hundred Fifty (250) feet to West line of said Southwest Quarter (1/4); thence North One Hundred Twelve (112) feet to the place of beginning, being Lot Numbered One (1) in the Eugene Wilson proposed addition. Subject to legal highways. by changing the classification of the "Use District" from "Unzoned" to "A" Residential Use and from "No" Height and Area District to "A" Height and Area District.
