Jefferson Boulevard, 4°i Floor <br /> South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br /> RE: 2013 Year-End Budget Transfer Ordinance <br /> Dear President Dieter, <br /> During the past several years, it has been the practice of the City of South Bend to request <br /> department heads, fiscal staff and city administration to conduct an extensive review of <br /> the status of compliance with the adopted city budget and propose necessary adjustments <br /> during the middle of the year and at year end. <br /> Based on our year-end review, we are submitting the enclosed ordinance for transfers <br /> between various departments and cost categories within the same funds for your <br /> consideration. No additional appropriation is requested in this ordinance. <br /> I will present this bill to the Common Council at the appropriate committee and council <br /> meetings. It is requested that this bill be filed for I" reading on November 25, 2013 with <br /> god reading, public hearing and 3rd reading scheduled for December 9. 2013. <br /> Thank you for your attention to this request.
