The <br />original ordinance was filed in title only due to the ongoing nature of the collective bargaining <br />negotiations at that time. We were pleased to learn that today the union members voted to ratify <br />the proposed collective bargaining agreement. I am now able to provide you with a complete <br />ordinance reflecting the terms of the ratified Teamster collective bargaining agreement for the <br />years 2014 through 2016. <br />Thanks to all members of the Council who participated in the collective bargaining <br />process, making this successful for both employees and management. <br />I will present this substitute Ordinance at the Councils Personnel & Finance Committee <br />meeting and at the public hearing.
