<br />veloped since the adoption of the existing annual budget so
<br />that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was
<br />appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions
<br />of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions, and
<br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Sani-
<br />tation Department to meet expenses incidental to instituting
<br />a city wide clean -up campaign and to assure that department's
<br />ability to properly perform its functions, and
<br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where
<br />it is not presently needed; and more specifically as follows,
<br />to -wit;
<br />$9,000.00 in Account XX -52, "Rents ".
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
<br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
<br />SECTION I. That the sum of $9,000.00 be transferred
<br />from Account XX -52, "Rents, and appropriated to the accounts
<br />and in the amounts set forth below, all accounts being within
<br />the General Fund:
<br />a. Account XX -12, "Temporary Help ",
<br />b. Account XX -37, "Other Supplies ",
<br />C. Account XX- 722, "Motor Equipment ",
<br />SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in
<br />effect from and after its passage by the Common
<br />approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of al
<br />quirements for emergency appropriations.
