An Ordinance Affecting a Tract of Land Located on the East Side <br />of Ironwood Road immediately South of and adjacent to the existing <br />boundary of the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the vicinity of <br />Topsfield Addition. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5183 -70 <br />An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing <br />Ordinance 4990 - Chapter 40 of Municipal <br />Code (Formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702). AS AMENDED. <br />Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana that: <br />Section 1 - Ordinance 4990 Chapter 40 of the Municipal <br />Code (formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702) of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana be and the same is hereby amended, supplemented, and <br />changed to provide that the following described real estate <br />located in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to -wit: <br />Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest <br />Quarter (4) of the Southwest Quarter (4) of <br />Section 20, Township 37 North, Range 3 East; thence <br />East along the present south city limits a distance <br />of one thousand five hundred (1,500) feet; thence <br />South a distance of four hundred thirty -five and <br />sixty hundredths (435.60) feet; thence West a <br />distance of one thousand five hundred (1,500) feet <br />to a point on the West line of said Section 20 <br />which is four hundred thirty -five and sixty hun- <br />dredths (435.60) feet South of the place of beginning <br />and also the present West city limits; thence North <br />a distance of four hundred thirty -five and sixty <br />hundredths (435.60) feet along the present West <br />city limit line to the place of beginning, containing <br />fifteen (15) acres. <br />be and the same hereby is zoned to "A" Residential in its Use <br />District Regulation classification and "A" Height and Area in <br />its Height and Area District classification. <br />Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force and <br />effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor, <br />and its publication according to <br />1st & 2nd READING 4 -13 -70 <br />C)MMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />P'_?;IC HEARING 5- 1'1 -70 <br />;,d READING 5- 1,1 =70 <br />h; OT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED 5 -11 -70 <br />DATED: May 11, 1970. <br />FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br />APR 91970 <br />KATHRYN L.
