ORDINANCE NO. 5178 -70 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $70,000 <br />FROM THE SEWAGE DISPOSAL FUND FOR <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS. <br />WHEREAS, the balance in the Sewage Disposal Fund is the <br />residual of a General Obligation Bond Issue, plus accumulated <br />interest from investments, and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose for which these bonds were issued <br />was for the construction of sewers,and <br />WHEREAS, funds are needed for the construction of <br />additional miscellaneous sewers, and <br />WHEREAS, there is an unappropriated and unobligated <br />balance in the Sewage Disposal Fund in excess of $70,000. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the <br />Sewage Disposal Fund the sum of $70,000 for the construction of <br />miscellaneous sewers. <br />Section 2.
