Hunter, Director of Utilities <br />The units described in the Ordinance are for the normal replace- <br />ment program at the plant. The first two 1970 Pick -Up Trucks in <br />...Item 1 are replacing Unit No. 201, a 1965 Chevrolet Pick -Up Truck and <br />i <br />Unit No. 14, a 1962 Chevrolet Pick -Up Truck. One of these new units <br />will be used by Gene Bogardus, Sewer Division and the other by plant <br />. personnel for various duties. <br />Item No. 2 - 1970 Chevrolet Pick -Up Truck is replacing Unit No, <br />211, a 1950 Chevrolet Truck being used by the Lift Station Crew. This <br />crew inspects and maintains our various lift stations, diversion <br />chambers, etc. <br />` Item No. 3 - 1970 Chevrolet Cab and Chassis is replacing Unit <br />1 No. 205, a 1963 1 -1/2 ton Dodge Truck and Unit No. 206, a 1965 1 -1/2 <br />ton Chevrolet Truck. This truck will be used by our construction <br />crews. They are responsible for repairs to our' sewers, catch basins, <br />etc. <br />These units were bid with the other City trucks. Gates Chevrolet <br />j_ <br />Incorporated was low bidder. Since the trucks met specifications, the <br />Board approved the purchases on January 5, 1970. <br />John L. Hunter <br />
