L,^:9 <br />C.'D <br />= <br />Z <br />a <br />0 <br />_ <br />ca <br />m <br />0z <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5133 -69 <br />Ca"'J <br />C7 <br />J <br />ca <br />m <br />Zl_ <br />�3 <br />C� <br />o <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br />N <br />z <br />MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />C) <br />WHICH IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE GOSS <br />Z <br />= <br />PROPERTY. <br />p <br />Q <br />}U <br />ei <br />U <br />Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana that: <br />Section 1 - The following described land, lying <br />adjacent to and forming a contiguous boundary with the present <br />City Limits of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, more <br />particularly described as: <br />Beginning at a point 653 feet north of and 40 feet east <br />of the southwest corner of Section 30, T37N, R3E, (said <br />point is on the east right-of-way line of Miami Road <br />and the east line of Annexation Ordinance No. 4788 -65, <br />the Jackson School property, and also the northwest <br />corner of Annexation No. 4759 -65, the north line thereof <br />being the present city limits of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana); thence east on a line 653 feet north of and <br />parallel to the south line of said Section 30 following <br />the present city limits a distance of 1746.57 feet more <br />or less to the west line of Scottsdale Addition, <br />Section D; thence north following the west line of <br />Scottsdale Addition, Section D (which is the present <br />city limits of South Bend) a distance of 156.0 feet <br />more or less to the south line of Annexation Ordinance <br />No. 4295 -60 (which is the present city limits of South <br />Bend); thence west following the south line of Annexation <br />Ordinance No. 4295 -60 and the city limits a distance of <br />1746.57 feet more or less to a point 40 feet east of the <br />west line of Section 30, also being on the east right -of- <br />way line of Miami Road; thence south following the east <br />right -of -way line of Miami Road a distance of 156.0 feet <br />more or less to the point of beginning, containing approxi- <br />mately 6.25 acres, <br />be, and the same hereby is, annexed as a part of the Municipal <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force and <br />effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor, <br />and its publication according to law. <br />1st & 2nd READING 11 -24 -69 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE 12 -8 -69 <br />PUBLIC HEARIP:G 12 -8 -69 <br />3rd READING 12 -8 -69 <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED Annex.
