South Bend, Indiana that: Section 1 - The following described land, lying adjacent to and forming a contiguous boundary with the present City Limits of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, more particularly described as: Beginning at a point on the north right -of -way line of Inwood Road (Chippewa Avenue) and the east right -of -way line of Linden Road (Gertrude Street), which is a point on the City Limits of the City of South Bend, Indiana; thence south following the east right -of -way line of Linden Road to a point of intersection with the south right -of -way line of U.S. 20, 31 South Bend By -Pass a distance of 4100 feet more or less; thence northwest following the south right -of -way of U.S. 20, 31 South Bend By -Pass a distance of 9100 feet more or less to a point on the southeast right -of -way line of Liberty Highway (Ind. 23); thence northeasterly following the southeast right -of -way of Liberty Highway (Ind. 23) a distance of 5380 feet more or less to a point on the east right -of -way of Locust Road (Olive Street); thence north following the east right -of -way of Locust Road (Olive Street) a distance of 70 feet more or less to a point of intersection with the north right -of -way line of Liberty Highway (Ind. 23) which is a point on the existing City Limits of the City of South Bend; thence east and south following the existing City Limits a distance of 7730 feet more or less to the point of beginning, located in Sections 26, 27, 22 and 21, T37N, R2E, and containing approximately 774 acres. be and the same hereby is annexed as a part of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana.
