l / J j j� PETITION TO A14END ZONING ORDINANCE Application No. Date Filed with City Clerk or County Auditor Date Received by the Area Plan Commission we, the undersigned, do hereby respectfully make application and petition the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as hereinafter requested, and in support of this application, the following facts are shown: 1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at 309 North Ironwood Drive, South Bend, Indiana 2. The property is owned by Marathon Oil Company, an Ohio Corporation, Findlay,Ohio 3. A legal description of the property is as follows: A part of Lot Numbered 65 as shown on the recorded Plat of Jefferson Heights Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, which part is bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point 154 feet South of the original North East corner of said Lot No-.651 thence West 130.2 feet to the East line of a public alley; thence South on said East line of the public alley, a distance of 48 feet; thence East 130.2 feet to the West line of Ironwood Drive (which is the East line of said Lot No. 65); thence North along the said wsst line of Ironwood Drive, a distance of 48 feet to the place of beginning, and being known as Lot Numbered 189 as shown on the Unrecorded Plat of Jefferson Heights Second Addition to said City of South Bend. 4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned: From A Residential. Use and B Height and Area District To C Commercial Use and D Height and Area District. 5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the following building will be constructed% Expanded service station facility to replace existing facility on adjacent lots. Modern 3 stall service station building with necessary appurtenances will be constructed on property to replace antiquated existing station.
