l <br />/ J <br />j <br />j� <br />PETITION TO A14END ZONING ORDINANCE <br />Application No. <br />Date Filed with City Clerk or County Auditor <br />Date Received by the Area Plan Commission <br />we, the undersigned, do hereby respectfully make application <br />and petition the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />as hereinafter requested, and in support of this application, the <br />following facts are shown: <br />1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at <br />309 North Ironwood Drive, South Bend, Indiana <br />2. The property is owned by Marathon Oil Company, an Ohio Corporation, <br />Findlay,Ohio <br />3. A legal description of the property is as follows: <br />A part of Lot Numbered 65 as shown on the recorded Plat of <br />Jefferson Heights Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />which part is bounded and described as follows: Beginning at <br />a point 154 feet South of the original North East corner of <br />said Lot No-.651 thence West 130.2 feet to the East line of a <br />public alley; thence South on said East line of the public alley, <br />a distance of 48 feet; thence East 130.2 feet to the West line <br />of Ironwood Drive (which is the East line of said Lot No. 65); <br />thence North along the said wsst line of Ironwood Drive, a <br />distance of 48 feet to the place of beginning, and being known <br />as Lot Numbered 189 as shown on the Unrecorded Plat of Jefferson <br />Heights Second Addition to said City of South Bend. <br />4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned: <br />From A Residential. Use and B Height and Area District <br />To C Commercial Use and D Height and Area District. <br />5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following <br />use and the following building will be constructed% Expanded service <br />station facility to replace existing facility on adjacent lots.
