Also present were Police Chief Darryl Boykins, Fire Chief <br />Howard Buchanon and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar. <br />,th <br />T I <br />he meeting was held in the board of Public Works Meeting Room, -) Floor, County City <br />Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />ADDITION TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Bodnar noted the addition to the agenda of a request for a hearing by Corporal Christopher <br />Houser. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS <br />President Alford advised that if there were no objections by members of the Board, the minutes of <br />the Public Agenda Session, Executive Session, and Regular meetings of the Board held on July 9, <br />2008 would be accepted and approved, <br />- Mr. Ryan Ernest Hiipakka <br />- Mr. Alexander Scott Gutierrez <br />- Mr. Kyle Patrick Drury <br />- Mr. William Kenneth Akin <br />Mr. John Voorde, City Clerk, was present and administered the Oath of Office to the above list <br />individuals. Mayor Stephen Luecke was present and welcomed the candidates to the City and <br />e <br />conaratulated them on their choice of profession. The Board congratulated them and wished th <br />well in their endeavors with the South Bend Police Department. <br />
