Approving a Contract Civil City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment Conveyance of two Parcels

Parcel 1 A part of Lots 24 and 25 in the recorded Plat of the South Bend Manufacturing Company's Addition to the Town, now City of South Bend, and a part of Lot 102 in the recorded Plat of the Original Plat of the Town, now City of South Bend, all in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, described as follows: Beginning at a point 90 feet East, along the North line, of the Northwest corner of said Lot 24; thence South 52 feet; thence South 460 59' East 112.6 feet to a point on the West line of said Lot 25, said point is 63 feet South, along said West line, of the Northwest corner of said Lot 25; thence North 34 feet along the West line of said Lot 25; thence Northeasterly to the inter- section of the North line of said Lot 25 and the Southwesterly line of Artesian Avenue; thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of Artesian Avenue to the intersection with the North line of said Lot 24; thence West along the North line of said Lot 24 to the Point of Beginning. Parcel 2 Lots Numbered Eight (8) and Nine (9) as shown on the recorded Original Plat of the Town, now City of South Bend. SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of South Bend is hereby directed and authorized in the name of the City of South Bend to execute any and all necessary instruments to accomplish the conveyance of each of said parcels of real estate and the City Clerk is directed and authorized to attest any such instruments and affix the seal of the City thereto. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
