159974 <br />-_ <br />o, a �' u ORDINANCE NO. 5311 -71 <br />e "= AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL <br />W -,CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, GENERALLY KNOWN AS <br />4.REENBROOK ESTATES MOBILE HOME PARK ON MAYFLOWER <br />"'TOAD. <br />can - -. <br />aBe it enacted by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana that: <br />Section 1 - The following described land, lying adjacent <br />to and forming a contiguous boundary with the present City Limits <br />of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, more particularly <br />described as: <br />Beginning at a point 1332.5 feet east of the northwest <br />corner of Section 17, T37N, R2E; thence east along the <br />north line of said Section 17 to the north -south center- <br />line of said Section 17 (which centerline is also the <br />centerline of Mayflower Road); thence south along the <br />said centerline a distance of 2221 feet more or less to <br />the north right -of -way line of the Indiana and Lake <br />Michigan Railroad (later known as Vandalia or St. Joseph, <br />South Bend and Southern Railroad); thence west along the <br />north right -of -way line of said Railroad to a point <br />789.1 feet west of the north and south 1/4 section line; <br />thence north 1141.5 feet; thence east 789.8 feet to the <br />said north and south 1/4 section line; thence north along <br />the said 1/4 section line a distance of 1088.7 feet to <br />the point of beginning, excepting therefrom the entire <br />south 1/2 of the right -of -way of Grant Road (Sample Street); <br />khid described land containing 86 acres more or less, all <br />in the northwest 1/4 of Section 17, T37N, R2E, Portage <br />Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, <br />Also, all of that east 1/2 of the right -of -way of <br />Mayflower Road extending from the north right -of -way line <br />of the Indiana and Lake Michigan Railroad (later known as <br />Vandalia or St. Joseph, South Bend and Southern Railroad) <br />to the south right -of -way line of Grant Road (Sample <br />Street) extended across the intersection from the west, <br />containing 2 acres more or less, all in the northeast 1/4 <br />of Section 17, T37N, R2E, Portage Township, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana, <br />be, and the same hereby is, annexed as a part of the Municipal <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />aook ?84 rarf153 <br />
