Interchange ORDINANCE NO. 5304 -71 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same relates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South Bend, and known and designated as: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, which point is also the intersection of the centerlines of Miami Hwy. and Ireland Road; thence South along the East line of said Section 25, a distance of 556.45 feet to a point, said point also being the place of begining for Annexation Ordinances 45114 -69 & 5130 -69; thence West along the North line of the parcel described in said ordinances, 420 feet to a point, said point being the place of begining of this description: Begining at said point; thence South along the West line of the parcel described in Annexation Ordinances #5114 -69 & #5130 -69, a distance of 173.73 feet to a point; thence East along the South line of said parcel a distance of 380 feet to the West line of Miami Hwy.; thence South along said West line to a point which is 778.48 feet North of and 40 feet West of the Southwest corner of said Section 25; thence West along the North property line of Jackson High School property a distance of 2682.11 feet to the West line of Fellows Street; thence South along said line a distance of 97.63 feet to the North line of Hartman Avenue extended; thence West along said line a distance of 584 feet to a point; thence North a distance of 330.6 feet to the intersection of the South line of Reason Street and the Northerly right -of -way line of the U.S. 31 By -Pass interchange; thence Northwesterly along said Northerly right -of -way line to the North line of the Recorded Plat of Hartman Terrace; thence East along the North line of Hartman Terrace to a point of intersection with the North line of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, said point being 200 feet West of the West line of the amended plat of Hablitzels Subdivision; thence North on a line 200 feet West of and parellel to the West line of said Hablitzel Sub. to a point which is 300 feet South of the South line of Ireland Road; thence West along a line 300 feet South of and parellel to said South line of Ireland Road to the Southeast corner of lot numbered 11 in the proposed plat of the North 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, as recorded; thence North along the East line of
