Interchange <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5304 -71 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED <br />AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING <br />MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING <br />ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE <br />DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 <br />The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, <br />and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or <br />maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the <br />same relates to that certain parcel of land situate in the <br />City of South Bend, and known and designated as: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of <br />Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, which point is <br />also the intersection of the centerlines of Miami Hwy. and <br />Ireland Road; thence South along the East line of said Section <br />25, a distance of 556.45 feet to a point, said point also being <br />the place of begining for Annexation Ordinances 45114 -69 & <br />5130 -69; thence West along the North line of the parcel described <br />in said ordinances, 420 feet to a point, said point being the <br />place of begining of this description: Begining at said point; <br />thence South along the West line of the parcel described in <br />Annexation Ordinances #5114 -69 & #5130 -69, a distance of <br />173.73 feet to a point; thence East along the South line of <br />said parcel a distance of 380 feet to the West line of Miami <br />Hwy.; thence South along said West line to a point which is <br />778.48 feet North of and 40 feet West of the Southwest corner <br />of said Section 25; thence West along the North property line <br />of Jackson High School property a distance of 2682.11 feet <br />to the West line of Fellows Street; thence South along said <br />line a distance of 97.63 feet to the North line of Hartman <br />Avenue extended; thence West along said line a distance of 584 <br />feet to a point; thence North a distance of 330.6 feet to <br />the intersection of the South line of Reason Street and the <br />Northerly right -of -way line of the U.S. 31 By -Pass interchange; <br />thence Northwesterly along said Northerly right -of -way line <br />to the North line of the Recorded Plat of Hartman Terrace; <br />thence East along the North line of Hartman Terrace to a point <br />of intersection with the North line of the South 1/2 of the <br />Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, <br />said point being 200 feet West of the West line of the amended <br />plat of Hablitzels Subdivision; thence North on a line 200 <br />feet West of and parellel to the West line of said Hablitzel <br />Sub. to a point which is 300 feet South of the South line of <br />Ireland Road; thence West along a line 300 feet South of and <br />parellel to said South line of Ireland Road to the Southeast <br />corner of lot numbered 11 in the proposed plat of the North <br />1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, <br />Range 2 East, as recorded; thence North along the East line of <br />
