WHEREAS, the City of South Bend has entered into an
<br />agreement with Indiana Bell Telephone Co., Inc. to furnish, install
<br />and maintain for use by the City a complete Special Emergency
<br />Reporting PBX system; and
<br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to pay installation
<br />costs of $2,115.00 and monthly charges for four months at $2,314.75;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is
<br />not presently needed and more specifically as follows; to -wit:
<br />$11,374.00 in Account Q -11, "Services Personal ".
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
<br />the City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />SECTION I. That the sum of $11,374.00 be transferred
<br />from Account Q -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and
<br />appropriated to Account Q -263, "Other Contractual Services ", both
<br />accounts being within the General Fund.
<br />SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
<br />effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
<br />approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment /�f all statutory require-
<br />ments for emergency appropriations. �
