ORDINANCE N0, 5284 -71 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />AND ASHLAND CHEMICAL COMPANY, SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF CHEMICALS FOR USE <br />FROM FEBRUARY 7, 1971 TO FEBRUARY 7, 1972, IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $6,840.00. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the Water Works <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana and Ashland Chemical Company, <br />South Bend, Indiana, on the 1st day of March 1971, pursuant to <br />advertising and receipt of bids as the purchase of same is required <br />in the operation of said Water Works, in a total quantity and a <br />total cost not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for chemicals <br />in the amount of $6,840.00, is hereby approved and confirmed: <br />Item No. 1 <br />380 150 lb. cylinders liquid <br />chlorine delivered as needed, <br />F.O.B.
