Appropriation - City Clerk's Office ORDINANCE NO. 5216 -70 AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,000.00 TO ACCOUNT C -725, "OFFICE EQUIPMENT ", IN THE BUDGET OF THE CITY CLERK'S DEPARTMENT AND ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the City Clerk's Department to establish an open filing system to assure the Department's ability to efficiently and properly perform its functions, therefore, so of BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That for additional expenses incidental to the Department of the City Clerk, there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the following account: a. Account C -725, "Office Equipment; the sum of $8,000.00. SECTION II.
