<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE, OF THE
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA -1962 SECTION 40 AS
<br />AIENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE No. 4990 -68, AND
<br />THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN
<br />AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING
<br />THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A
<br />CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION 1,
<br />The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and
<br />General Ordinance No, 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps
<br />thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same re-
<br />lates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South
<br />Bend, and known and designated as:
<br />A parcel of land in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township
<br />3714, Range 2E, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at
<br />the intersection of the South Right -Of -Way line of Ireland Road and
<br />the East Right -Of -Way line of Main Street, thence South 387 feet, more
<br />or less, thence East 330 feet, more or less, to the West Right -Of -Way
<br />line of U.S. 31 (Michigan Road), thence Northeasterly along the West
<br />Right -Of -Way line of U.S. 319 100 feet, more or less, thence ;lest 165 feet,
<br />more or less, thence Northeasterly, parallel with the West Right -Of -'day
<br />line of U.S. 310 287 feet, more or less, to the South Right -Of -Way line
<br />of Ireland Road, thence West along the South Right- Of -Wav line of
<br />Ireland Road, 165 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.
<br />Also a parcel of land in the Southwest 1/4 of Sec, 25, Two. 37N,,
<br />R.2E., more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on
<br />the West Right -Of -Way line of U.S. 31 (Michigan Road) which is 619 feet,
<br />more or less, South of the intersection of the South Right-Of-Way line
<br />of Ireland Road and the West Right- Of -Wav line of U.S. 31, said point
<br />also being 50 feet North of the intersection of the North Right -Of -Way
<br />line of Callender Street and the West Right -Of -Way line of U.S. 31,
<br />thence West 165 feet, more or less, parallel with the North Right -Of- ?,day
