ORDINANCE NO. 5210 -70 AN ORDINANCE A14ENDI14G THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, TNDIANA -1962 SECTION 40 AS A14ENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE N0. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTA.IIV PARCEL OF LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying man or maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same re- lates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South Bend, and known and designated as: A parcel of land located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 26, Township 3714, Range 2.E., more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point which is 20 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Southeast 1/4, whict/oint is also on the South Right -Of -Way line of Ireland Road, thence West along the South Right -Of -Way line of Ireland Road to the North /South center line of Section 26, Township 3714, Range 2E., (Which point is also the present South Bend City Limits), thence South along the North /South center line of said section to the North Right -Of -`.day line of the U.S. 20 -31 By Pass, thence East and Northeasterly along said North Right -Of -Way line of the U.S. 20 -31 By Pass to the East line of Section 26, thence North along said East line of Section 26 to the place of beginning. By changing the classification of the "Use District" from "Unzoned" to "E" Heavy Industrial and from "No" Height and Area District to "C" Height and Area District. SECTI014 2.
