ORDINANCE NO. 5203 -70 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIA- <br />TION IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000 FROM ACCOUNT <br />P -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", TO ACCOUNT P -262, <br />"MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND DENTAL," IN THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET,ALL BEING WITHIN <br />THE GENERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have de- <br />veloped since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that <br />it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated <br />in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government <br />to meet such extraordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend <br />Police Department for medical expenses and to assure the de- <br />partment's ability to properly perform its functions, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That for additional expenses incidental to the <br />South Bend Police Department, the sum of $3,000 be transferred <br />from Account P -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and <br />appropriated to Account P -262, "Medical, Surgical and Dental ", <br />both accounts being within the General Fund. <br />SECTION II.
