ORDINANCE NO. ~~~~'"~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA APPROPRIATING <br />$130,000 FROM FUND 201 AND $45,000 FROM FUND <br />405 FOR CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF THE POTAWATOMI <br />Z00 HOSPITAL <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The South Bend Parks and Recreation Department has <br />received additional funding from the Zoological Society of <br />St. Joseph County by way of donations for the completion of <br />Potawatomi Zoo's Veterinary Hospital. <br />This Ordinance authorizes the South Bend Park <br />Department to use the funds for their designated purpose of <br />constructing and equipping the veterinary hospital at <br />Potawatomi Zoo. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br />Section I. The sum of $130,000 is ordered appropriated <br />from and set aside within the Parks and Recreation <br />Operating Fund #201 for the construction of the <br />veterinary hospital in Potawatomi Zoo in account <br />201-1101-452.42-02. <br />Section II. The sum of $45,000 is ordered appropriated <br />from and set aside within the Parks and Recreation Non- <br />reverting Capital Fund #405 for the equipping of the <br />veterinary hospital in Potawatomi Zoo in account <br />405-1104-452.43-07. <br />Section III.
