Trans ORDINANCE NO. 5224 -70 funds - MSF AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPRO- PRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $ $19,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO ACCOUNT U -214, "TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH" IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,000.00, TO ACCOUNT U -252, "REPAIR OF EQUIPMENT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $}& X6-88 AND TO ACCOUNT $8,000.00 U -324, "OTHER GARAGE AND MOTOR SUPPLIES" IN THE AMOUNT OF $rj,69@ -6 &, ALL BEING $4,000 00 WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary con- ditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Munici- pal Services Facility for telephone and telegraph, repair of equipment and other garage and motor supplies and to assure that department's ability to properly perform its functions; and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in the General Fund in excess of $22,000.00, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I.
